cool woody

I have just seen Vicky Cristina Barcelona and I really made it up with Woody Allen. It was easy, though, as I am the kind of fan that has seen almost all his movies. It was the time when we pretended to be cool, so watching the last production by Woody Allen was almost a need.

Later all that stuff started to tire me. It was exhausting: he could not stop talking!!! After that, as time went by and we already had forgotten his movies due to his familiar scandals, Match Point pop up. And so arrived Scarlett Johansson… how could I explain: I feel like if I was young (and cool) again.

If it was for me, I would take the first flight to Barcelona. To meet the Mediterranean once again, its light, its joy, the great hustle and bustle of Barcelona.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona

I was a extranger when I got there for the first time, today I feel like a stateless European, or maybe like a citizen of the world from 27 countries at the same time. Here you have some music by Giulia and the Tellarinis… and a picture of Scarlett and Javier Bardem. Let’s dream for a while!

I interviewed Woody in one of those luxury hotels in Manhattan, where journalists stand on a line, waiting the star to answer their questions. It was difficult to get from him more than little short answers. So cute, Woody.

Later on I saw him again in his jazz club, playing saxo: “pas mal”, but as boring and charmless as before. And yet, this man is magic and he knows how to transmit it. It is hard to find master pieces in Woody Allen’s career (even if there are some). What is undeniable is that Woody has gain much along the years and that his last movies will be tenderly remembered.

I love you, Barcelona.

con la sangre no se juega

2342048735_b651d54c681Español o europeo.
